Vehicle graphics make a BIG statement
Reigate & Banstead Borough Council
The challenge
The brief was to use the wrap graphics on Reigate & Banstead’s new fleet of vehicles to create a campaign which stood out and communicated the bigger message about recycling, while still being accessible, down-to-earth and relevant to kerbside recycling.
The solution
The campaign literally and visually tells the story of how small acts of recycling add up to make something big. It counters the helplessness, sometimes felt when facing big environmental issues, by offering a positive message reminding residents that their simple kerbside recycling does make a big difference.
The colourful graphics and simple typography also translates well to other media including graphics for roadshows and social media.
Mary listened and understood what we wanted to achieve and then presented a range of creative concepts which took us on a clear visual journey – answering all the differing requirements of our individual team members and leading everyone to easily agree on the chosen concept.
Mary also had all the practical and technical skills to translate the concept into a successful finished product, liaising with the wrap producers and providing clear scheduling which enabled us to meet our tight deadline. She was patient, responsive, and easy to work with and really brought value to the project.
Everyone is very happy with the result and the trucks look great!.
