Dementia Hub brand identity

EPSOM & EWELL BOROUGH COUNCIL

The challenge

The brief was to raise the profile of the council’s Community Daycare Centre, which offers respite care for people living with dementia and memory loss. The service was already well respected by its users but required visual material which reflected the professionalism and high quality of its offering.

The solution

In order to raise the Centre’s profile we developed a visual identity featuring a stylised forget-me-not, which works alongside the council’s logo, with corporate green coloured panels as a background to the main messages.

Since the Daycare service already had a good reputation amongst users; the publicity focused on customer testimonials in conjunction with carefully chosen stock photographs to communicate this story to a wider audience.

Mary helped us develop a new name and visual identity for the service. She was thorough, inventive, and her designs answered our brief perfectly. Her previous experience of working with local authorities was incredibly helpful. She understood our needs and worked flexibly and creatively with us to produce a finished result which was well received by the Service and brought an increase in enquiries and users of the Hub.
